Ukraine news corporation TCH also featured our GCS-200 conducting demining in Bucha last week: [video in Ukrainian, summarised below]
The main advantage of the demining machine is that it can be controlled remotely at a distance of up to a thousand metres
Therefore the demining process is rendered safe for the SESU and military engineers involved in humanitarian demining
GCS' machines are used to destroy anti-tank and anti-personnel mines
They have been specially designed for heavy-contamination clearance tasks in high-threat environments
This demining robot can clear an average of five hundred to one thousand square meters per hour, depending on the terrain where demining is taking place
GCS Ukraine General Manager Dmytro Salimonov explains: "This model can go down thirty centimeters into the ground and accelerate up to two kilometers per hour. This makes it possible to demine fields for farmers at a very high rate of clearance and return them to normal life."
